Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Professional organising is for anyone who wants their home or workplace to function better, save time, reduce stress, and create systems that make everyday life easier.
-
Decluttering is the crucial first step in the process. I start by removing everything from your space and sort items into categories, grouping like with like. With everything laid out like this, it makes it much easier for you to see what you have and helps speed up the decision-making process.
Once you've decided what you're keeping, I then start organising, creating a home for everything by sorting, grouping, and putting practical systems in place so the space works for you long-term.
In simple terms: decluttering is deciding what stays, organising is deciding where it lives.
-
No. Decluttering and cleaning are two completely different things.
Decluttering involves going through everything in your chosen space, deciding what stays, what goes, and we then create systems for everything that is left, that make your space easier to live or work in.
However, while I'm organising, I will always wipe down shelves, drawers, and furniture before returning items to their new homes, but this isn't a cleaning service.
My focus is decluttering and organising, not cleaning.
-
Absolutely not. My role is to guide and support you through the decision-making process, not to make decisions for you. It is 100% your decision what stays and what goes.
If a client is unsure of certain items, I always suggest putting these into a “decide later” box. So there is zero pressure to make every decision during a session.
-
It depends on the space and on how involved you'd like to be.
When it comes to deciding what goes, that is entirely your decision. I'm here to guide the process and help you make progress, but I don't decide what to keep.
Some areas, such as a pantry or kitchen, usually require very little of your time. However, other spaces, like wardrobes, home offices, or sentimental items, tend to need more input from you.
Also, every client is different. Some prefer to be as hands-off as possible, while others like to be involved every step of the way. During our initial consultation, we'll talk through your preferences and plan from there.
The goal is to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible for you.

Wherever possible, we'll use the storage you already have rather than adding unnecessary expense with baskets, bins, and organising products.
I'm all about function over aesthetics, we would all love a Pinterest-perfect look, but it adds so much expense.
In fact, one of the first things I'll ask is what storage you already have elsewhere in your home. For the majority of jobs, the client has everything we need without buying a thing. If a particular space would genuinely benefit from additional storage, I'll measure up, make recommendations or I can even source the products for you.
Once some time has passed and the space is functioning well, we can always look at another short session to focus on aesthetics if you'd like a more polished look.
My priority is creating simple, sustainable systems that work for you, your space, and your lifestyle. -
Absolutely not! My aim is to make the process as stress-free as possible, so there's no need to tidy, clean, or organise anything before I arrive.
In fact, seeing your space exactly as it is helps me understand how it functions in everyday life. This allows me to identify what's working, what's causing frustration, and create organising solutions that are tailored to your needs and lifestyle.
There is no judgement, I'm here to help and support you every step of the way.

Every space is different, the time needed depends on a number of factors, including the number of rooms, the amount of clutter, how quickly decisions are made, and what you'd like to achieve by the end of the process.
To give you a general idea, smaller areas (pantries, utility, boot room, under stairs) can often be completed in half a day or 1 full day, while larger spaces (Wardrobe, kitchen, playroom) may require a full day or multiple sessions.
During our consultation, I'll assess your space, discuss your goals, and give you a realistic idea of what can be achieved.
-
We aim to keep as much as possible out of landfill.
I often find that many items can be rehomed elsewhere in your home and placed in a more practical or logical location.
For anything you no longer want, I ensure we recycle as much as possible and donate usable items to charity.
As part of my service, I take up to 3 boxes or bags of donations to a local charity shop.
Only items that can't be reused, recycled, or donated will be disposed of and honestly, it’s always minimal.

I genuinely love what I do, and I think that comes across in every session. I'm calm, encouraging, practical, and focused on helping you make progress at a pace that feels comfortable.
Most of all, I want the process to feel easier than you expected. -
No. I offer a complimentary initial consultation to discuss your space, goals, and how I can help. This usually takes 30 minutes. This can be done online, or if you live nearby, I can do this in person.
-
Packages start from €160, with the final cost depending on the size of the space, the level of clutter, and the amount of time required to achieve your goals.
Each session includes hands-on decluttering and organising support, personalised solutions tailored to your space and lifestyle, practical systems that are easy to maintain, and follow-up recommendations where needed.
During our initial consultation, I'll assess your space, discuss your goals, and I will provide a realistic estimate based on the work involved. There are no hidden fees, and you'll always know exactly what to expect before we begin.
